Tungareshwar was full of birds on Sunday 25th Feb.2007. 17 members join the bird walk arranged by Mumbai Bird Club. We started the trail around 7.30am & had some very nice sightings of forest birds.

Enthusiasm ran very high for Mumbai Bird Club's birding at Sewri this evening and nearly 50 birders turned up to watch the waders and other shorebirds. The tide was just flooding in around the time we gathered and most of us hung on there till sunset; first at the jetty and later moving on to near the Colgate factory. Finer points of waders' identification were also discussed and experiences shared over cups of coffee during over two hours of birding together
